Somerset Archives and native Studies
The Somerset Archives and native Studies supports the archives for that county of Somerset. The archives are held at Brunel Way, Langford Mead, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton, and operated by Somerset County Council.
The records held include dental history tracks, estate and manorial records, parish registers and also the archives from the Somerset Light Infantry and Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
Control over the archives continues to be absorbed through the The West Heritage Trust.
