Roger Mead (1938 – 17 August 2015) was an British statistician and Emeritus Professor of Applied Statistics in the College of Studying. He is renowned for his paper with John Nelder around the broadly-used Nelder-Mead method as well as for his focus on record means of agriculture and the style of experiments. He is made an Honorary Existence Person in the Worldwide Biometric Society in 2014.
